The No-Strap
* Note attachment straps on either end
  Step 1
Loop the one of the attachment straps thru a bracket close to the tailpiece on the bottom side of the banjo.

  Step 2
Thread laces thru 2 overlapping holes of the attachment strap.

Step 3
Tie laces together using 2 square knots.

Step 4
Thread the remaining attachment strap thru a bracket on the bottom of the banjo closest to the heel of the neck. Thread and tie laces as you did in Steps 1-3.

  Step 5
Adjustments to lengthen or shorten can be made here at the buckle. Any shortening or lengthening should be done on both sides of the buckles because the body of the no-strap should be in the center of the lower back and not pulled to one side.

  • When attaching your No-Strap to your banjo keep in mind that if the neck is not at the desired angle, you can re-attach the attachment straps on different brackets. Simply move the attachment straps to the next bracket in a clockwise direction around your banjo pot. This will raise the neck angle up.
  • If you have extra weight around your midsection and the banjo does not sit at a correct angle after putting your banjo on, the attachment straps need to both be attached to the topside brackets of the banjo.
